Enjoy The Kelly Clarkson Show while you can. Rumor has it that the syndicated daytime talk show does not have much of a future, if any. The show hosted by American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson has been on the air since 2019, earning countless Daytime Emmy Awards over that time.
Insiders describe the show’s doom as “definite” among other words. Many others are sceptical that the show is still sustainable despite years of success. The seventh season premiered in September after a delay while Kelly was dealing with personal matters. Her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, died of melanoma in August. The couple had two kids in their marriage.
Kelly Clarkson’s chat show could be coming to an end for good

All good things must come to an end, even this critically acclaimed show, it seems. “Likely that it will not go on,” an insider told Page Six. Her show is reportedly a lot to put on and may not be worth the hassle for the network anymore.
There has been speculation about the show ending for some time now. In 2024, former Today anchor Hoda Kotb was linked as a replacement for Kelly. The show ending may come as a relief to the Grammy Award winner, who has reportedly wanted out as host for a while.
While it’s not promising the show will continue beyond this season, others say that nothing on that end is set in stone. If Kelly does indeed want to leave, she’ll be free to do so when this season ends. Her contract is set to expire this year.
There was concern last April about Kelly’s future on the show when Andy Cohen temporarily took over hosting duties. The singer’s focus is said to be on her kids, who just lost their dad. River and Remington are 11 and nine years old, respectively. Kelly has been named Outstanding Daytime Talk Show Host at the Daytime Emmys on multiple occasions.
