In an interview with Popcast’s Jon Caramanica and Joe Coscarelli, A$AP Rocky got up close and personal as he talked about his new album “Don’t Be Dumb,” which is his comeback album after nearly eight years. During this interview, he also opened up about how his family with Rihanna and their three children means the world to him.
Furthermore, Rocky discussed how his kids and partner have kept him grounded over this agonizing yet thrilling stretch of time away from his first love, i.e., music. He discussed how his babies waltzed into his life and took over. This simply adorable relationship between a dad and his kids is beyond relatable for parents.
A$AP Rocky touched upon how his and Rihanna’s new baby effortlessly ‘took over the household’
A$AP Rocky and Rihanna have a beautiful and grounded life with their kids — RZA Athelston, 3, Riot Rose, 2, and their latest addition, daughter Rocki Irish, who was born in September 2025. He explained how having his two sons was just amazing, but it was being a girl dad that absolutely changed his life.
The fashion icon further explained, “Baby Rocki came in and just kinda took over the household. You know, she is very talkative at four months. She likes to giggle and smile.” The way Rocky talked about his daughter was probably one of the most relatable things for young dads. He also discussed how he and Rihanna are both “cool” parents and commented on how parenthood is just as amazing as he predicted it would be.
The rapper then talked about how he always knows that he has to let his kids be themselves. He wants to be the guy who is always there for his daughter while also telling his boys how to behave and protect her. Additionally, the father of three wants to help his boys learn how to throw the football and really enjoy their lives. He added, “Being a dad made me cooler, my swag is up!”
As is evident from the comments, it’s quite clear that A$AP Rocky and Rihanna have built a beautiful little haven for themselves and their babies, and their fans just love that.
