Britney Spears is reportedly using her industry experience to help her son, Jayden James Federline, lay the groundwork for a future in music. According to sources from a major publication, the pop icon has begun opening doors behind the scenes as her 19-year-old son explores a career in music production.

A source told Us Weekly that Britney Spears is “helping him connect with some producers she’s worked with in the past.” They continued, “She definitely wants him to utilize her old relationships so he’s protected and guided through this.”
Jayden has played the piano since childhood, but sources say his current passion lies in producing beats and experimenting with sound. He has shared snippets of his work on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube in the past, though many of those posts have since been deleted.
Despite growing up surrounded by music, Jayden has previously admitted he didn’t fully grasp the scale of his mother’s fame until he was older. Spears released her last studio album, Glory, when her son was just 9.
In a 2022 interview with the Daily Mail, Jayden reflected on the moment he understood how globally famous his mother was. He recalled seeing footage of her performing for massive crowds and realising the magnitude of her success. He said, “That inspired me,” adding, “I came to the realization of how famous she was and how successful she is as a person.”
Although the 44-year-old has repeatedly said she retired from full-time music after the end of her 13-year conservatorship in 2021, she recently hinted on Instagram that she might perform with Jayden in the U.K. and Australia “very soon.” She has also said she does not plan to perform in the U.S. again. Sources stress that no concerts are currently planned.
Meanwhile, Britney Spears hasn’t closed the door entirely. “She’s open to collaborating with Jayden,” the source noted, adding, “but it’s a very early idea.”
