Natasha Lyonne has relapsed after ten years of sobriety.
The actress revealed in a statement on X on Friday that she was struggling with addiction after a decade of recovery. Previously, the star has been candid with her previous struggles with susbtance abuse, that led to a number of legal issues and health complications.

“Took my relapse public more to come,” Natasha began in her first post, sent on January 23.
In her follow-up posts, the Poker Face actor thanked fans for their support. Natasha also had an optimistic outlook on her next steps. “Recovery is a lifelong process. Anyone out there struggling, remember you’re not alone,” she tweeted early on Saturday.
“Grateful for love and smart feet. Gonna do it for baby Bambo. Stay honest, folks. Sick as our secrets.”
Natasha previously said she quit drugs in 2006, after a series of legal and health problems. In 2005, the Orange Is the New Black actor was evicted from her home following a series of drug-influenced disputes with her neighbors. Her landlord, actor Michael Rapaport, kicked her out after tenant complaints piled up.
In 2001, Natasha was arrested for DUI, following a crash on Miami Beach. In 2004, she was charged with mischief, trespass, and harassment of a neighbor and their dog. Both charges against her were dropped following her successful completion of a court-appointed rehab stay in 2006.
The actress also revealed she was “good as dead” following a drug-related health episode that saw her diagnosed with hepatitis C, collapsed lung, and infective endocarditis. In 2012, six years after ditching drugs, Natasha underwent open-heart surgery to repair a heart valve damaged by the previous infection.
