After Taylor Swift and Blake Lively’s text exchange became public, the singer has reportedly changed her number. Taylor Swift reportedly changed her phone number after her texts with Blake Lively became public. A source told Rob Shuter that the 36-year-old singer has always been “very private” and doesn’t entertain people who are “overstepping.” “Taylor needed to set boundaries and protect her peace,” they added.

A few days ago, the Justin Baldoni sexual assault case proceeded with the release of text messages between Swift and Lively. In it, the “Life of a Showgirl” hitmaker reportedly cursed at the filmmaker and made a “tiny violin” reference. Referring to the situation, insiders told the outlet that the award-winning vocalist has switched her number to a new one. “Taylor’s circle is very tight. She values her personal space, and when things get messy, she shuts it down fast. Changing her number was the cleanest way to do that,” a music industry insider said.

Furthermore, one of the songwriter’s friends claimed that this move was a “full reset,” and that Swift would like to be “in charge of” who and when she could talk to. Moreover, another source stated that she reclaimed “control over her life” by changing her phone digits. It was neither “petty ” nor ” dramatic.”

Earlier, a report suggested that the release of text messages would not allegedly affect Swift. She would reportedly not be served with a witness summons. As per an insider, the chat spoke for “themselves, so they won’t need her as a witness.”
