Season 11 of Southern Charm brought us another feud between Venita Aspen and one of her besties. While Venita doesn’t like Craig Conover, her friend, Salley Carson, enjoys hot tub time with him. Meanwhile, during Season 10, Venita’s friendship with JT Thomas fell apart.
Their close friendship caused Venita to catch feelings for JT. Unfortunately, he was dating someone else. However, the couple did begin dating but ended their romance before the reunion. It was a rollercoaster that resulted in JT going to Venita’s hotel room after the reunion wrapped. Then, Venita claimed that he blocked her.
Venita Aspen “knows more about this man than I want to”
Meanwhile, during Season 10, Craig claimed that JT called Patricia Altschul a “b*tch.” However, both JT and the show’s producers denied Craig’s allegations. Still, Craig wasn’t done. He also accused JT of calling Madison LeCroy a cheater. This led to JT dropping out of filming the rest of the season. However, JT did attend the reunion, and his confrontation with Venita was sad. I still miss Venita and JT’s friendship dynamic on Southern Charm.
Next, this former Southern Charmer made a drastic life change. “So today’s the first day of my new journey in life. I have pulled the ripcord, and I am living in Bali,” JT told his social media followers in a video. “Just retired. Retired, living in Bali, after living my whole life in the US.”
As for Venita? She has been hearing updates about JT through the grapevine. Venita told Parade that she knows “more about this man than I want to because everyone keeps telling me about what he has going on.” She stated that her former friend is “in Bali living his best life.” Venita added, “God bless him. I hope he’s doing well.”
