On January 19, Kylie Jenner was the moment on the red carpet in a backless crop top featuring ruffles at the front. For the Los Angeles premiere of “The Moment,” which marks her film debut, Jenner stunned in a Maison Margiela ensemble. The outfit was the perfect balance of avant-garde fashion and effortless elegance.
Kylie Jenner pairs backless Maison Margiela crop top with flowy skirt for movie premiere
Kylie Jenner added a Kardashian twist to her look for her latest red carpet appearance by baring her toned midriff. She walked the red carpet outside LA’s Fine Arts Theater, donning a ruffled cream-toned crop top with a flowing black skirt that formed a little train behind her. Designed with layers of soft, cascading ruffles, the top featured a high neckline that drew attention upward while leaving the entire back exposed. Meanwhile, the floor-length black silk skirt balanced the dramatic top.
Seen on the runway in October 2025, the entire ensemble was Look 52 from Maison Margiela’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection. It was one of the standout designs from Glenn Martens’ debut ready-to-wear collection for the French fashion house. On the runway, the look featured fabric connecting the top and skirt. However, Jenner decided to put her own spin on it, letting her abs peek through.
Styled by the celebrity stylist sister duo, Mackenzie and Alexandra Grandquist, the beauty mogul accessorised with Lorraine Schwartz jewellery. She wore her long, dark hair slicked back into a bun. The clean updo ensured nothing distracted from the intricate detailing of the top or the open back. Meanwhile, her makeup leaned into soft glamour, tying the look together.
Kylie Jenner posed on the red carpet alongside her “The Moment” co-star, Charli XCX, for some photos. The Grammy-winning songstress was wearing a grey corset, a PVC bra, and matching micro shorts. She completed the look with sheer black tights and black heels.
