The Challenge Alum Cory Wharton Shows Incredible Body Transformation After Two Knee Surgeries

The latest update from Cory Wharton is a whole lot of fitspo with a slight dash of thirst trap. The Challenge star just shared an Instagram post showing off his dramatic, one-year body transformation after recovering from two knee surgeries last year. The father of three went from rocking a dad bod to showing off a set of chiseled abs, and he shared with his followers exactly how he did it. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t Ozempic.

Cory Wharton put in the “hard work to get back into good shape”

As fans of reality TV, we’re used to seeing our favorite stars dish about their body transformations. Usually, there’s a GLP-1 involved or perhaps a quick visit to their local medspa. That’s certainly not the case with Cory.

The Challenge star explained to his followers that after two knee surgeries, he picked up a little bit of weight. He expected it to happen, but he spent the last year laser-focused on putting in time at the gym, along with paying closer attention to his diet.

Cory’s starting weight was 233, and in his chiseled form, he’s 220. It’s not necessarily a dramatic, jaw-dropping weight loss as you’d see on The Biggest Loser or something. However, Cory said he’s proof that sometimes the number on the scale isn’t the most important thing.

He wrote, ”It’s not always about the number that you see on the scale, it’s about how you feel.”

Cory capped off his motivational post with some words of encouragement for anyone looking to transform like him. He said to focus on being “the hardest worker” in the gym and not rely on any magic to make things happen.

“No magical pill you could take to have the body that you want. It’s gonna take lifestyle changes & consistency,” Cory said.

The Challenge is streaming on Paramount+.
