A little over a year after his sudden split with ex-girlfriend Marie Lou Nurk, Jason Oppenheim found someone new. In 2025 the Selling Sunset star hard-launched a relationship with Jessica Vargas. She just so happens to be a real estate agent underneath the Oppenheim Group. Dating co-workers is clearly his type, as he had a short-lived romance with Chrishelle Stause and a past romance with Nicole Young. Despite this pattern, though, this relationship seemed different.
The two were inseparable, constantly showing each other off on social media. Even with their 25-year age gap, with Jason her senior, they were in love. Their relationship also moved quickly, with marriage plans already being discussed. However, it doesn’t look like they will be planning to tie the knot anymore.
Jason described Jessica as “the most beautiful woman” he’s met
Jason recently gave an update on their relationship and confirmed that after only a year together, they’ve parted ways.
“Jessica is the most beautiful woman I’ve ever met, inside and out, and while we won’t be husband and wife, we will be best friends,” she told PEOPLE.
Jessica also released a statement with the outlet, echoing Jason’s sentiment of having no bad blood.
“The best outcome for us is staying close and remaining in each other’s lives as best friends. He’s truly a gem of a human with the biggest heart, and I’m grateful for him.”
Her realtor bio is still on the company’s website, so it’s safe to say they really are on good terms.
During their relationship they weren’t filming Selling Sunset so fans didn’t get an on-screen glimpse of them together. However, with a potential Season 10 on the horizon, their post-split dynamic is bound to be a storyline.
