Although the Duchess of Sussex seemed to enjoy the affectionate gesture, body language expert Judi James noted that Harry appeared “less comfortable,” as his focus seemed to be more on the game.

In a conversation with the Mirror, the expert stated that Harry looked “less comfortable” during the public outing than Markle.
She further suggested that it seemed like the Duchess wanted to show everyone that her Valentine’s outing was perfect. James continued, “She holds his thigh in a possessive and flirty-looking gesture or clings onto his arm with both hands to signal closeness, furiously rubbing his arm to alert him to the Jumbotron and urge him to join in with her smiling excitement.”
Harry, on the other hand, appeared more focused on the game than the cameras. She added, “Harry appears less comfortable posing for the camera here.” James continued, “His smile looks effortful and doesn’t really reach his eyes. His wide leg splay hints at confidence, but perhaps just a desire to enjoy watching the game.”
