Ex-Prince Andrew’s arrest in a “new” Range Rover on his 66th birthday reportedly seemed “unfair” to his neighbors in Sandringham. As reported by GBN News, police officers descended on the former Duke of York’s Wood Farm residence at 8 am. They then allegedly informed the former prince that they were holding him on “suspicion of misconduct in public office.” The authorities reportedly took Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s fingerprints. They even allegedly took his saliva sample as well as a mugshot.

Per the news outlet, the police officers took ex-Prince Andrew to Aylsham police station at 8:54 am. It was allegedly a journey that lasted 55 minutes. He was reportedly in the back of a police Volvo XC90, which was unmarked. In the meantime, a Norfolk Police Range Rover was allegedly leading the car, with another vehicle following behind, carrying the former Prince’s protection officers.

In the meantime, according to the news outlet, a Sandringham neighbor of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor expressed, “I just think Andrew needs to go.” The person continued, “It’s an embarrassment to England because this is going to be worldwide.” Meanwhile, another neighbor reportedly said, “My mum and my nan all follow [the Royal Family] – anyone my age doesn’t care.” The person continued, “I don’t know anyone that supports him around here.” The neighbor further explained, “I don’t think it’s very fair that he’s just been nicked.” The person then added, “They’ve arrested him in a Range Rover, brand-spanking new.” “Why didn’t he go in the back of a Mondeo like anybody else?” questioned the neighbor.
