Jimmy Kimmel Shocked Over ‘Unavailable’ Epstein Files Related to Donald Trump

Jimmy Kimmel turned his attention to a developing controversy involving documents tied to Jeffrey Epstein and Donald Trump during a recent episode of his late night show. The host addressed reports about withheld FBI materials and questioned why certain details remain unreleased.

On Wednesday night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Jimmy Kimmel addressed reports that the Justice Department withheld 53 pages of FBI material related to allegations involving Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein. NPR reported that the pages include interviews and notes from conversations with a woman who accused Trump of sexual abuse several decades ago when she was a minor. Kimmel said, “I know, I’m as shocked as you. I thought he got rid of NPR.”

Kimmel stated, “The woman said she was 13 when she met Trump. The FBI interviewed her four times in 2019. The details of those interviews are, for reasons that still haven’t been explained, unavailable.” He said Democrats on the House Oversight Committee saw the documents and confirmed their existence. He asked, “Why are they being allowed to hide this stuff? They’re supposed to release the files. What a bunch of hypocrites these people are. If these interviews were on Hunter Biden’s laptop, we’d know every word of them.”

Kimmel said, “The reason we don’t know is because the people who work for the president blacked out his name a bunch of times and made interviews disappear.” He added, “Seems to me the best thing for President Trump, who I’m sure did nothing wrong, is to order them to unredact his name and release all of the Trump-Epstein files so he can prove how unbelievably innocent he is.”

On The Late Show, Stephen Colbert also addressed the reported missing files. Colbert said, “That the files are missing should be the biggest story in the world. It’s totally on brand for the DOJ, especially this DOJ, to be protecting Trump.”
