New Video in Nancy Guthrie Kidnapping Likely Shows Suspect’s Car — Report

A security camera on a Catalina Foothills back road recorded a vehicle passing just minutes after Nancy Guthrie’s pacemaker stopped syncing with her phone — and a new report claims that the video may have captured the suspect’s car in the kidnapping case.

Residents Elias and Danielle Stratigouleas’ Ring camera captured the footage, and it provides a potential timeline in the Guthrie’s disappearance. Their camera faces a street often used to bypass major intersections, and while 12 cars drove past between midnight and 6 a.m., one passed at exactly 2:36 a.m. Notably, authorities believe Guthrie’s pacemaker last synced around 2:28 a.m.

New video in Nancy Guthrie kidnapping likely captured suspect’s car, claims report

Fox News exclusively reported that retired NYPD detective Pat Brosnan offered his input on Nancy Guthrie’s kidnapping and examined the potential suspect’s video, identifying the car at 2:36 a.m. as a Kia Soul.

Danielle Stratigouleas said, “I think it sounds smart, and if they even sort of knew the area or actually cased the area beforehand, that road behind Camino Real called Camino Escuela would be an even better idea,” adding, “There’s never anybody on it, and never a police car to be seen.”

Moreover, other residents noticed strange things leading up to the incident. Aldine Meister saw a man walking near an intersection leading to Guthrie’s neighborhood in mid-January, stating, “He didn’t have your typical walking gear on, and he had his hat pulled really far over his eyes.” Meister added, “He was kind of younger, and he just didn’t look like he was going out for a walk.”

Another neighbor reported a Hispanic man, roughly 5 feet 9 inches tall, smoking near an abandoned dark red Honda SUV on February 2, who reportedly wore a close-trimmed beard and a silver bracelet. The vehicle allegedly sat there for three days before disappearing.

The FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Department have the camera footage. The Kia Soul’s connection with Nancy Guthrie’s kidnapping is under suspicion, and the authorities did not name any suspects.
