She even sent one contestant home ahead of a rose ceremony. “If you’re here for the wrong reasons, you’re leaving,” Taylor said of the shock elimination. Meanwhile, host Jesse Palmer stated, “This is going to be unlike any other Bachelorette season people have ever seen before.”

Nearly every season has some controversy. So far, we know that one of Taylor’s suitors has a celebrity connection. PEOPLE reported that Clayton Johnson was reportedly engaged to singer Lana Del Rey before they split. It isn’t clear when the former couple decided to part ways.
Meanwhile, ABC’s casting announcement called Clayton “a true Southern gentleman who just hasn’t found the right one yet. This talented musician is searching for a love that’s loyal, nurturing, and built to last a lifetime,” his biography reads. “When he’s not writing or recording music, Clayton enjoys escaping the city to spend time in nature with his dog, Oliver.”
His bio continued, “Clayton calls himself a lover boy and is ready to write love songs for the woman of his dreams. He’s beyond excited to meet Taylor and has romantic surprises already planned for her.”
As for Taylor, she shares two children with her ex-husband, Tate Paul. She also shares one son with Dakota Mortensen, her ex-boyfriend. Of course, Taylor’s new romantic interest would have to love children. I’m crossing my fingers that the MomTok creator finally finds love and the man of her dreams.
Season 22 of The Bachelorette premieres on ABC Sunday, March 22, at 9 p.m. ET.
