Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor may soon find his world limited to a quiet corner of the Sandringham estate. According to palace insiders, the disgraced royal is expected to move into a heavily secured farmhouse on the property.
Sources say the setup reflects the monarchy’s latest effort to keep the disgraced former prince away from the spotlight while his legal troubles continue to play out.
King Charles could still fund a “luxury” lifestyle for Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor

According to RadarOnline, preparations are underway at Marsh Farm. It’s a farmhouse located on King Charles’ privately owned Sandringham estate in Norfolk. The property has reportedly been undergoing renovations ahead of Andrew’s expected move.
The relocation follows Andrew’s February 19 arrest on suspicion of misconduct in public office. Authorities are now examining claims that he may have shared sensitive information with financier Jeffrey Epstein while serving as Britain’s trade envoy. He was taken into custody and released a few hours later. However, the investigation is still ongoing.
Behind the scenes, sources say the plan to move Andrew to Marsh Farm is meant to keep him well away from public attention.
One insider explained, “The King is determined to prevent the situation from becoming a constant media spectacle centered on Andrew’s movements.”
Photos taken near the property show just how much security has been added. A newly installed six-foot fence now sits behind the existing wooden barrier. More fencing has also appeared along the side of the farmhouse. CCTV cameras and outdoor security lights have also gone up. Reports say airspace restrictions above the property have been expanded as well.
Another royal source said the move is meant to create distance between Andrew and the monarchy. “There is a clear effort to draw a boundary between the constitutional role of the monarch and the personal difficulties facing a member of the family,” the insider said.
For Andrew, the arrangement could mean a life that is comfortable but tightly controlled.
One source put it bluntly. “Effectively, Andrew is now under house arrest and will remain so for the rest of his life, as, in exchange, his brother will fund his comfortable lifestyle.”
