Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright Custody Deal Agreed; Alcohol Restrictions Revealed

Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright have reached a child custody agreement and child support for their son, Cruz. The agreement includes alcohol and drug restrictions and will hopefully work out for both Vanderpump Rules alums as they co-parent moving forward.

Jax and Brittany split in 2024, and he has faced some tumultuous ups and downs. But since his exit from The Valley, Jax appears to be doing well. Sources have said he moved out of his bachelor pad next to pal Tom Schwartz and into a home closer to Brittany and his son.

Now, despite Jax initially saying he wanted Brittany to have full custody of their son in 2024, he has since worked to get back on track, and the pair will share joint legal custody of Cruz. They will both make decisions about his health, education, and more. Brittany will have the final say if they can’t agree.

TMZ obtained their plan in court documents. The agreement states that neither will pay child support. They will each be responsible for the costs and expenses associated with their son while he is in their custody. There is also a six-month waiting period clause on their son meeting any potential significant others.

Jax also gets Cruz every other weekend and on Wednesday nights. He’s allegedly in a much better place now and has been sober for several months. Per the deal, the pair both agreed not to be under the influence of alcohol, marijuana, or any other form of illegal drug while Cruz is with them.

It looks like, after all the bad that went down, the former couple is now trying to make custody amicable between them. They have agreed not to trash-talk each other in front of Cruz and even said they will attempt to celebrate their son’s birthdays and special events together.

The Valley is now streaming on Peacock.
