The past years for Miranda McWhorter have been a total rollercoaster, especially in the romance department. She came in on the second season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives with marital baggage. Specifically, viewers witnessed the end of her relationship with ex-husband Chase McWhorter.
After a ton of drama (including a weird soft-swinging scandal) their divorce was finalized in 2024. But, some fans don’t think that the door between them has fully closed. Amidst the rumors that they are still together, Miranda just tried to set the record straight.
Miranda appeared on Lindsie Chrisley’s The Southern Tea podcast
Miranda was a recent guest on Lindsie Chrisley’s podcast of vulnerability, The Southern Tea. It was during the segment that she addressed the theory that she and Chase are still a thing.
“I think I still see a lot of assumptions of people being like, ‘There’s no way Miranda and Chase aren’t still hooking up. Come on now, you guys.. You really think that little of me,” she questioned in the March 11 episode.
As far as the reality TV star’s current status, she is single. And no, she’s not interested in trying her luck and being the next Bachelorette like her co-star Taylor Frankie Paul.
“My kids and my career have been my focus. If I meet somebody, I kind of feel like it would just end up falling in my lap. I don’t really see the use in going out and searching for it. I’m content enough in my life that I’m in no rush.”
Speaking of Taylor, Chase returned in Season 4 and seemed to have his sights set on her. Despite their date last season, though, she is not willing to pursue a romance with him (what a girl’s girl).
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 4 is streaming on Hulu.
