Bachelorette Taylor Frankie Paul’s Friends ‘All Worried’ for Her ‘Well-Being’

Trigger Warning: This article contains a discussion of domestic violence allegations.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Taylor Frankie Paul continues to dominate the headlines. And not in a positive way. Her Bachelorette journey is days away from premiering, and she is embroiled in a domestic abuse investigation.

It isn’t a secret that Taylor’s relationship with her ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen, is chaotic and volatile. And according to the Draper City Police Department, the exes are involved in a “domestic assault investigation.” Plus, the spokesperson confirmed that “allegations have been made in both directions.”

In addition, Dakota called the Utah Division of Child and Family Services, alleging that Taylor was physically abusive to their nearly two-year-old son, Ever. Taylor reportedly denied these allegations. However, DCFS ordered the former couple to undergo psychological evaluations.

An insider told PEOPLE, “We’re all worried for Taylor’s well-being. We want Taylor to get the help she needs.” The source claimed that Taylor calls Dakota “all the time,” usually between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m.

In 2023, Taylor was arrested for alleged domestic violence following an argument with Dakota. Taylor received misdemeanor charges of criminal mischief, assault, and commission of domestic violence in the presence of a child. However, Taylor pleaded guilty to aggravated assault. If she follows the plea conditions, the charge will be dismissed. The other charges have already been dismissed. During this incident, Taylor allegedly threw a chair at Dakota, but it struck her daughter.

The Bachelorette Season 22 premieres March 22 on ABC. Meanwhile, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is streaming on Hulu.
