An upcoming book titled “Betrayal: Power, Deceit and the Fight for the Future of the Royal Family” has reportedly “targeted” Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry. The royal author, Tom Bower, has written the book, which is all set to be published on March 26. Now, ahead of its release, a royal expert claimed that the book has made the Sussex couple its “target” for a reason.

There is allegedly a reason why “Betrayal: Power, Deceit and the Fight for the Future of the Royal Family,” an upcoming book by author Tom Bower, has reportedly “targeted” Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry. As reported by the Daily Express, the description of the book reads, “Fighting to preserve their royal titles and privileges.” It continued, “In their attempts to create a Sussex brand, the couple have fuelled bitter hostility.”
Per the news outlet, Richard Fitzwilliams, a royal expert, went on to talk to them about the upcoming book. The expert said, “Whether his [Tom Bower’s] quotes are exact and his descriptions accurate is arguable.” The person continued, “But that he has targeted a couple who appear to be walking disasters is pretty clear.” The royal expert further explained that Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, “have not succeeded in the US.”
According to the news outlet, the royal author then expressed that the Duke of Sussex and the Duchess of Sussex “have lost Spotify, Netflix is no longer backing As Ever.” Richard Fitzwilliams continued, “He has lost Sentebale, their Charity seems tiny and in 2024, was losing money.” In the meantime, the royal expert also said that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry “behaved destructively towards the Royal Family” after their much-talked-about royal exit. The couple left their royal lives in the UK behind them in 2020. They currently live with their children in Montecito, California.
