It’s time for another round of House of Villains! It’s the only show on television where you can see Sandoval strut around in a French maid outfit and watch New York make out with a Survivor star, all in the span of 60 minutes. The fact that this show hasn’t won an Emmy is difficult to fathom.
Last week, Kate ascended to the top of the pyramid with an unexpected Battle Royale win. She opened up a suggestion box for Hit List nominations and wound up putting all of her enemies on the chopping block. There’s nothing better than a little revenge, right? This week, her lucky streak continued because by the end of House of Villains Season 3 Episode 6, “This is Bananas,” two people from her Hit List wound up getting booted from the game.
What happened in House of Villains Season 3 Episode 7?

After Kate the Supervillain put Ashley, Paul, and Johnny on the Hit List, she stumbled across a notebook that unearthed some very useful information for her game. Meanwhile, Ashley’s mystery illness took a turn for the worse, and things literally got bananas during the Redemption Challenge. In the end, two villains wound up leaving the competition, and suddenly, the tides are turning on this season of House of Villains. The bros might not have it all after all.
Ashley’s notebook gave Kate an upper hand

Remember that first season of The Traitors when Kate dropped a note with a bunch of names listed on it, and it sent the entire castle into a frenzy? She had the exact opposite experience this week on House of Villains. This woman has a thing for paper trails.
Kate came across a notebook that Ashley had left sitting on a table. What’s inside it? A detailed page with all of Ashley’s strategy written out. She drew a diagram to show the alliances in the house with Tyson, Johnny, Paul, and herself on one side, leaving Kate and pretty much anyone female on the outskirts.
Interestingly, Ashley put Tom in the middle of the two alliances, proving that he really isn’t as solid in that group as he might have originally thought. He’s filler, and it’s the perfect piece of ammunition for Kate. She now knows exactly where everyone stands, and she’s ready to use it to her advantage.
Ashley left House of Villains Season 3 due to illness

Since last week, Ashley has been complaining about feeling sick, and in Episode 6, the mystery illness really caught up to her. Is it a coincidence that this all started happening after she hooked up with Johnny? Perhaps.
Either way, her sickness was clearly becoming a problem in the house. You can’t compete in challenges or do anything when you have chills and are throwing up all over everything. House of Villains doesn’t need to be a superspreader event.
Ahead of the Redemption Challenge, Johnny Bananas rolled up on a tiny little motorcycle and dropped the news about his fellow The Challenge competitor. Ashley’s illness was too much for the competition, and she was forced to leave House of Villains Season 3.
Initially, when he dropped this news, it seemed like it would result in Johnny and Paul getting off the hook. However, he hit them with a second bombshell. Kate would have to immediately pick someone else to go on the Hit List. Fortunately, she had Ashley’s notes to help guide her decision. She picked Tyson to go up on the Hit List.
Johnny Bananas hosted a daring Redemption Challenge

This episode gave us one of the most bonkers Redemption Challenges we’ve ever seen on House of Villains, and honestly? We’re here for it. Johnny led the players through the game, where the villains on the Hit List had to recruit the other players to complete a series of daring challenges, each worth different amounts of points. Whoever could rack up the most points would skate through another week and escape the Hit List.
At first, this challenge seemed pretty tame. A few people had to jump into the pool with their clothes on. Tom had to dress up like a French maid, and you know he loved every second of it. Then, things started taking a wild turn.
At one point, Bananas challenged New York to make out with Tyson for a full 30 seconds. They had Johnny lie in a bed full of superworms, and then he and Tyson had a hornworm-eating contest. If someone else winds up getting sick this season, you can blame this challenge.
Ultimately, it was Tyson who rose to the top of this challenge, getting himself off the Hit List in record time. However, he quickly realized that he wasn’t fully out of the woods just yet.
Tyson’s alliances are falling apart

Thanks to Ashley’s note, Kate’s reign as the Supervillain of the Week continued well after the Redemption Challenge. She decided to use her newfound tea to try to blow up some of Tyson’s alliances. It might have worked.
First, Kate went to Tom to warn him about his standing in the group. She had handwritten evidence that Tyson didn’t see him as an equal. She also told him about the questionable things Tyson said during “office hours,” when he promised to take Kate to the end and said he’d be willing to throw Tom under the bus.
Obviously, Tom didn’t like hearing any of this information. He thought his bromance with Tyson was solid, so finding out otherwise left him feeling vulnerable. When he confronted Tyson about it, the seasoned Survivor star tried to play it cool. He encouraged Tom that their relationship was strong, but he’s going to have to work overtime to win back the trust.
“I can feel his mistrust, his skepticism towards me, and I kind of hate it,” Tyson admitted.
Who got banished in House of Villains Season 3 Episode 6?

On top of Ashley’s medically required banishment, Johnny from Love Island USA was also banished this week in a 4-1 vote.
Johnny became the fourth villain to exit the game, and his demise all came down to how poorly he’s been managing his relationships in the game. He pissed off Sandoval by considering him for the Hit List. He pissed off the rest of the villains by drawing such a hard line in the sand from the beginning of the season. His alliance was already headed for life support, and with Ashley out of the picture, he didn’t have enough people to back him up.
Paul managed to avoid elimination again, but he did get one lone vote from Drita. It’s the second time she’s been in that position, and that’s the type of behavior that doesn’t usually bode well on these shows. As the next round of gameplay kicks off, we’ll see if her voting record ever comes back to haunt her.
House of Villains airs on Thursdays at 9/8c on Peacock.
