Filming for Season 5 is on hold amid Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen’s open domestic violence investigation. Meanwhile, while the future of SLOMW is unclear, Jen’s husband, Zac Affleck, may have dropped a hint about their future.
The couple relocated to California while Jen competed on Season 34 of Dancing with the Stars. She was paired with new DWTS pro Jan Ravnik, who was a backup dancer for Taylor Swift. Not too shabby! The post-partum MomTok superstar was eliminated during the Halloween episode.

Recently, Jen shared an Instagram post reflecting on her time as an SLOMW cast member. She mentioned that she wished that the show had captured “the empowerment, the birth stories, the beauty of motherhood” along with the “drama.” She added, “Thank you to everyone who’s supported me along the way.”
Meanwhile, Zac took to his Instagram to share a carousel of photos with Jen and their kids frolicking in California. Some of the snaps featured the family enjoying the beach and eating some ice cream. He captioned the post, “Excited for new beginnings.” Of course, some fans questioned Zac’s commitment to living in sunny California.
“That’s awesome, I’m all for that! But, you were pretty adamant in season 4 that you did not want to live in CA. What changed your mind???” a follower asked in the comments. Zac responded, “That’s for storyline. Contrary to what you might have seen I loved DWTS experience, and California has been my dream place to live my entire life.”
Of course, the timing is interesting because reports have surfaced that Jen will be part of a SLOMW spinoff. Reportedly, the show will follow a group of Mormon friends living their best lives in Orange County, California. Insiders claim that Jen will be the only OG cast member, along with nine newbies.
