Perhaps once upon a time, Kristen Doute and Janet Caperna may have been friends, but that time has long passed. The latest peek at the latest season of The Valley shows that Kristen and Janet still have major beef between them, and the drama is sure to follow.
Kristen and Janet gave their version of events
In the preview clip, Kristen’s fiancé Luke Broderick is listening to her share her version of the last time she saw Janet. It was at a pool party hosted by Brittany Cartwright. Janet, on the other hand, is talking with The Valley’s new cast member and former Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent.
Apparently, Brittany invited friends over to swim, and since Kristen had just given birth, Janet assumed she’d be staying indoors. So she thought it would be safe for her and her son Cameron, to go swimming outside. Kristen, on the other hand, thought Janet wouldn’t be there since Brittany told her that Janet would likely cancel.
However, Janet did show up, and Kristen was not having it. According to Janet, Kristen shouted at Brittany, “Why is she here? She doesn’t deserve to be here!” Janet assumed Kristen was talking about her, so she just left.
But that doesn’t mean she didn’t give Brittany an earful about it through text. Janet sent her numerous messages saying she couldn’t believe Brittany allowed this to happen and that her son was so shaken up.
Lala said that all friendships go through ups and downs, and they should just focus on the good. However, Kristen is done with Janet and her past bad behavior. Janet claimed she wants peace, but Kristen told Luke that Janet doesn’t exist to her after everything they’ve been through.
“She has sh*t on too many of my friends,” Kristen said. “She kind of just doesn’t exist to me.”
The Valley Season 3 premieres April 1, 2026 on Bravo. Episodes will stream on Peacock.
