After several weeks of a production shutdown, there may be some hope for The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Apparently, the cast is ready to film again, if they can just get the higher ups onboard.
Multiple sources are saying that production is ready to resume in just a matter of weeks. Reportedly, the cast wants to get the show on the road, so as not to interfere with their summer plans.
Sources suggest production will restart on SLOMW soon

The cast was willing to take a beat during the domestic violence investigation involving Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen. But now they’re ready to go back to work.
However, an insider told TMZ that network execs are not just debating the remainder of Season 5. They’re also weighing the future of the entire series.
Fans certainly got excited when Miranda McWhorter posted a photo online with a camera in front of her, suggesting filming had resumed. However, it was just the cast’s attempt to pressure Disney to move forward with the show. Sadly, the reality is that filming is still on pause.
Meanwhile, TMZ reported that the domestic violence investigation had concluded and findings turned over to the Salt Lake City District Attorney. Any possible charges against either Taylor or Dakota are in their hands.
In addition, production hired their own investigators to look into cast members’ unspecified accusations. No word has yet been shared on the status of that investigation.
Not only was filming on SLOMW paused, but Taylor’s much-hyped season of The Bachelorette was canceled just three days before its premiere. When a video came to light from her 2023 DV case, Disney decided it wasn’t a good look for their show and pulled the plug.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is streaming on Hulu and Disney+.
