Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson announced their engagement in December 2025 during an event at the White House. Ahead of the couple’s upcoming nuptials, multiple sources have offered insights into their relationship. They describe Anderson as someone having a “traditional” view of marriage.
“She lets him take the lead, and she does what is right,” the Palm Beach tipster said to PEOPLE. “They have fun together. They enjoy the fanfare yet like to get away from it. Don especially can do without all the social stuff, but she knows how to wrap herself in it and do the right thing,” they added.
Another insider stated, “Whatever role is expected of Bettina now that she is marrying into America’s current royalty, she will do it well.” The source further said that Anderson is “stunning, graceful, gracious, and eager to please.” They added, “She will follow Don to the ends of the earth. That is their dynamic.”
The source added, “I think she would be fine with her own kids or Don’s,” referring to Trump Jr.’s five children with his former wife, Vanessa Trump. “This is not new for her. Despite the emphasis on glamour, she likes family. And Don would not be marrying someone who doesn’t want to be around his kids,” the source added.

Don would never choose to marry someone who was not genuine about family and completely comfortable around his children.”
Furthermore, a third tipster noted that the couple is “very well suited for each other,” before adding, “I think she’s really a great example for him and a great role model. I mean, she fits in perfectly with that whole group.”
