Why RHORI Star Rulla Nehme Pontarelli’s Husband Stayed Quiet During Affair Conversation

Trigger Warning: This article contains a discussion of domestic violence allegations.

The Real Housewives of Rhode Island cast came to play. These ladies aren’t afraid to speak their peace. Just ask Rulla Nehme Pontarelli and her suspiciously quiet husband, Brian Pontarelli.

As you may have heard, Brian is facing a domestic violence charge for placing an electronic tracking device on, or inside, a person’s vehicle without their consent. Following the incident, Rulla requested a no-contact order from the court. So far, much of the RHORI drama involves Brian’s mistress and whether their affair was over.

Jo-Ellen Tiberi made a shocking claim on The Real Housewives of Rhode Island

At Liz McGraw’s glittery Studio 54 birthday party, the drama escalated. Jo-Ellen Tiberi originally broke the news to Rulla that Brian was cheating, and showed her a social media photo as proof. After that, Jo-Ellen claimed that Brian contacted her employer. As a result, Rulla, Brian, Jo-Ellen, and her husband, Gary Tiberi, had a tense sit-down. These ladies have zero filter.

During the Real Housewives of Rhode Island After Show, Jo-Ellen and Rulla broke down their versions of events. When Jo-Ellen asked Brian to explain his side in Season 1 Episode 3, he was pretty quiet. “Brian barely said anything. You don’t want to be the one yelling at a female,” Rulla explained. “Brian is definitely a mature, like, high-road guy as well.”

She added, “I just don’t think it was the right time or place to have that conversation. I think that’s why he just hung back a little bit.” Meanwhile, Jo-Ellen revealed that Brian emailed her boss.

“Brian proceeds, like a moron, to write an email to my job, which, then, my job forwarded to me. It said Brian Pontarelli, his email, and his phone number,” Jo-Ellen stated. “‘I would like to file a complaint.’ I have the email.” So much for Brian’s claim that he didn’t want to get Jo-Ellen fired.

The Real Housewives of Rhode Island airs on Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo. Episodes stream on Peacock the next day.
