Donald Trump has described a pretty shocking turn of events if the ceasefire with Iran doesn’t hold up. On a call with a media publication on Monday, the President discussed the current situation with Iran, starting with a dark threat if things don’t go his way on Tuesday.
President Trump said “lots of bombs start going off” if the ceasefire expires

Speaking to PBS News, Trump was asked what would happen if the ceasefire ends tomorrow evening. He told White House correspondent Liz Landers: “Then lots of bombs start going off.”
He was also asked what he wanted from the current negotiations in Islamabad, to which he replied: “No nuclear weapons. Very simple. Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. Very simple.”
After pointing out that Jared Kushner has business interests in the Middle East, the correspondent asked if the President thought it was “appropriate” for him to be negotiating in the region.
Trump replied: “Well, he was there before, long time before, and he’s purely negotiating for the fact that they’re not going to have a nuclear weapon. Whether you have business or not, everybody knows that’s the right thing. He’s a very good negotiator.”
He added: “I sent my A-Team, he’s done an excellent job.”
The conversation then turned to the current gas price situation. The reporter asked: “Secretary Chris Wright said on CNN gas may not be lower than $3 until later this year or next year. Is that a concern for the midterms?”
Trump replied: “I disagree with him totally. I think it’ll come roaring down if it ends. If we end it, if Iran does what they should do, it will come roaring down.”
Meanwhile, Trump’s approval rating has reportedly hit a new low.
