On April 20, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen sat down for a press conference. Speaking of how his fatherhood has impacted his perspective on football, he said, “I mean, I think it definitely changes mindset a little bit. I’m very excited. I do think this is going to be the best version of myself. You know, in all aspects, in my professional career, in my personal life.”
“It’s such a blessing, and I’ve got an absolute rockstar of a wife that’s doing so many things right now and allowing me to be here right now and be with my teammates,” Allen added. Describing it as a “special time,” he continued, “I wouldn’t want it any other way. It’s very rewarding.”
The April 2 Substack post from Steinfeld announced that the couple has welcomed their first child. The Academy Award nominee wrote, “Our baby girl has arrived!! We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes.”
In another Substack post on April 3, she shared a little more about her new journey. The post read, “Thank you for all your kind words and messages yesterday! To say we are unbelievably happy and in love with this baby girl would be an understatement. I’m soaking in the newborn bliss, but I’ll still be writing here every week.”
Meanwhile, Steinfeld had first shared the news of her pregnancy with the world via a video on her Substack newsletter in December.
