Captain Jason Chambers Gives His Take On Daisy Kelliher Cookie Feud With Ben Robinson

Captain Jason Chambers had some distinct thoughts after watching the freshly baked cookie argument between Ben Robinson and Daisy Kelliher last night on Below Deck Down Under. As fans saw, Daisy did her best to support Ben in the galley. But Ben saw things differently. Instead of supporting him, Daisy was merely giving him extra tasks, he wrongly assumed. So, Ben blew up at Daisy, and as a result, Captain Jason is now siding with Daisy.

Looks like Captain Jason is on Daisy’s side for this one

During last night’s episode, Joanna, the primary, requested a “vanilla essence” birthday cake on her preference sheet. Also, she admitted in her guest confessional, “I’m not really tolerant [of] mediocre food.” Joanna could have been a tricky good time for these crew members. But Daisy stayed on the ball, ensuring Joanna’s every need and whim was met.

As a result, early on, Daisy clocked Ben for making a chocolate cake instead of Joanna’s pre-requested vanilla cake. Ben fought with Daisy about this, but ultimately, he caved and made a second cake, which Joanna later loved. Then, one of the guests made a brief comment to Daisy about wanting freshly baked cookies. So, Daisy passed this suggestion on to Ben, but Ben once again argued with her, suggesting that she was giving him extra work and not managing their guests’ expectations well.

Even still, Ben eventually folded and did as Daisy suggested, and the guests were ecstatic. They felt heard, and they loved his cookies. So, what does Captain Jason think about this weird cookiegate mess? Well, like most of us, he’s siding with Daisy.

Captain Jason turned to Daisy on the After Show, saying, “You did exactly what you’re supposed to do. It’s not abnormal for a chief stewardess to request [something on behalf of] charter guests, especially if they actually requested it.” Daisy, naturally, agreed.

“The cookies were not for me. I did not [lie] there going, ‘How can I f*ck Ben?’ Or, ‘How can I really throw him off his kilter?’” she explained. Instead, Daisy added, she was only giving their guests what they wanted.

Below Deck Down Under continues on Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock.
