Travis Kelce might have shot down Taylor Swift wedding date rumors. The Chiefs’ tight end confirmed they are doing a live show to mark the start of the World Cup. The Kelce brothers will host a live New Heights podcast event in Los Angeles on June 15 during the 2026 World Cup. Team USA will play Paraguay in its opening game in Los Angeles on June 12.
The 36-year-old shared, “We’re taking our talents to the West Coast. I can’t wait… It’ll be a blast… We’re going to have a bunch of games, a whole bunch of guests. It’ll be another electric evening for the live shows, and we’re so pumped for it” (via The Sun).
His brother Jason added, “Team USA is kicking off the World Cup in LA, so we gotta be there to cheer them on. We’re talking surprise guests, big-time audience interaction, all the New Heights energy live in front of a crowd.”
Interestingly, Page Six had previously reported that Kelce and Swift plan to tie the knot on June 13. The Grammy winner owns a luxurious home in Rhode Island, which doubles as the wedding venue alongside Ocean House, a nearby five-star seaside resort. Also, number 13 is numerically significant to Swift.
Now, as per this piece of information, it is highly unlikely that the couple will tie the knot on June 13. The Chiefs’ tight end accidentally debunked wedding rumors by confirming his plans to host a New Heights live event with his brother. However, as per a new report by Page Six, the couple will wed on July 3 in New York City.
The couple is fond of the city and has made numerous trips to the Big Apple. Kelce and Swift have reportedly sent “save-the-date” cards to their friends and family. The couple has not commented on the news reports.
