Prince William’s special gift to Kate Middleton on their anniversary has recently become the topic of discussion. On April 29, the Prince and Princess of Wales celebrated their 15 years of togetherness.
When it came to gifts, royal expert Richard Palmer guessed the couple might opt for these two things. According to him, the future king and queen could spend time together and reportedly go on a “private anniversary trip.” In addition to that, William could allegedly give a traditional present made of crystal or go for a watch, as it is something practical.
Royal expert guesses Prince William’s gift to Kate Middleton on their 15th anniversary
Royal expert Richard Palmer tried to guess Prince William’s gift to his wife, Kate Middleton, on their 15th wedding anniversary. He told The Mirror that the Prince of Wales could reportedly pick a traditional crystal item for his spouse. He could seemingly get a gift that would represent their relationship.
“Couples often buy watches for each other at 15 years, instead of crystal, and I could imagine them seeing this as something sentimental but also useful, which would suit them,” he said.
Palmer also mentioned that the couple often prefers to celebrate big events in their lives privately. “They would both much prefer some family holiday time or a private anniversary trip to any big public declarations,” he added.
According to the royal expert, William and Middleton might plan a getaway with their children. They reportedly would like to spend this time with their family, as both of them are “quite sentimental.”
While Palmer listed a few good things for William to gift his wife, the heir had once revealed an embarrassing gift experience. During a 2020 episode of “That Peter Crouch Podcast,” the father of three mentioned that he had once given a pair of binoculars to Middleton.
“I did get my wife a pair of binoculars once – she’s never let me forget that – that was early on in the courtship. I think that sealed the deal. It didn’t go well,” William joked.
