Gavin Newsom slams Joe Rogan in new post

California Governor Gavin Newsom slammed conservative podcaster Joe Rogan in a new X post in response to Rogan’s statements in a 2023 clip from his show, The Joe Rogan Experience, where Rogan claimed that the governor was not a “real person.”

“Nobody believes in that guy. The guy’s a f—ing con man,” Rogan said in his conversation with Patrick Bet-David. “Whether you like Trump or not, whether you think he’s corrupt, that’s a human being… With Newsom, you’ve got like this construct, this cardboard cutout of a person,” Rogan added.

In response, Newsom slammed Joe Rogan, calling him “too chicken” to call him on his show.

“Joe Rogan hasn’t invited me on his show, yet he keeps talking about me. He seems quite focused on my ‘good looks,’ much like Jesse ‘See you in court’ Watters. A bit strange, but thank you! Anyway, if he’s ready to move past the hesitation and have me on, I’ll even offer him three lifelines to phone a friend during the show whenever he needs help. I’ll even stay seated. Until then, he isn’t just ‘chicken.’ He’s tofu! Thank you for your attention to this matter. — Governor GCN,” Newson wrote.

Rogan has attacked Newsom time and again since the second Trump administration began.

Newsom had previously posed the same question to Rogan before. On his appearance on the Higher Learning podcast, Rogan said, “Joe, why won’t you have me on the show? He won’t have me on the show. It’s one way. And he has guests coming and attacking and bashing, but he will not have me on the show.”
