Margo Stilley Opens up About ‘Spiral Down’ While Making Ladies of London; Clarifies Mark-Francis Vandelli ‘Freak’ Comment

Ladies of London Season 4 has come to an end (cry), but the cast is clearly still feeling the fallout from the show. Take Margo Stilley, for example. She just spoke out about her “spiral” on during production, which viewers saw amid her feud with co-star Mark-Francis Vandelli.

Margo appeared on Jeff Lewis Live and reveals her struggles

“Watching it back, I can watch myself spiral down,” she told Jeff Lewis in a podcast interview this week.

Elaborating, Margo said she now understands her breakdown was about more than just the drama with her castmates. The actor slash model said she’s since realized she was experiencing postpartum depression while filming, which took place just months after she gave birth to her daughter.

Elsewhere, Margo commented on her feud with Mark-Francis, which became a central storyline for much of Season 4.

To recap, Margo and Mark-Francis had a strained relationship pretty much from the get-go. But it came to a head when she called him a “freak” during one of their many arguments. Later, former Made in Chelsea star Mark-Francis explained to Margo how triggering it had been for him, given his sexuality.

“That attitude took me right back to my 16-year-old self, who was suicidal because of being completely shunned,” he told her in the season finale. “I genuinely feel really bad that he went back to a place like that,” Margo replied in a confessional.

So, how does Margo feel about it now? Reflecting on her comment even further, Margo said on Jeff’s podcast this week: “I had no idea that word would be so weighted.”

The Ladies of London: The New Reign is available to stream on Peacock.
