Ladies of London’s Missé Beqiri Gives Statement After Ex-Fiancé’s Death at 35

Ladies of London star Missé Beqiri has shared an emotional statement after her former fiancé, with whom she shared a child, tragically passed away. Jake Hall, a footballer and reality TV star himself, was 35 at the time of his death.

Speaking to Tyla, a representative for Missé said: “At this time, Missé’s focus is on supporting and protecting their child as they come to terms with this devastating loss.”

“The family are asking for privacy, compassion and respect while they grieve privately,” her statement went on.

The Only Way is Essex’s Jake tragically passed away from head injuries at a villa in Majorca, Spain. A spokesperson for the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office said: “We are supporting the family of a British man who has died in Spain and are in contact with the local authorities.”

Meanwhile, the Spanish Civil Guard confirmed it was investigating the incident, which it said “appears to be an accidental death.”

Missé and Jake met long before her time on Ladies of London. Their on-again, off-again relationship began in 2016, and the following year, in November, they welcomed their daughter, River.

In May 2018, the pair got engaged, but by December, they’d split, and Jake was served with a restraining order. Since then, Missé and Jake have co-parented their daughter, who is now eight.

Sadly, this is not the first time that tragedy has struck for Missé. As Ladies of London viewers learned this season, her brother was shot and killed just a few years ago. Missé’s decision to open up to her castmates about the emotional event became somewhat of a storyline when she fell out with Kimi Murdoch over her reaction to it.

The Ladies of London: The New Reign is available to stream on Peacock.
