Meghan Markle ‘has no plans to see her estranged father’ Thomas Markle, per source
A report by Radar Online suggests that Thomas Markle is planning to return to the USA amid his worsening health. He is planning to get a prosthetic leg fitted and reside in the US on a permanent basis.
Thomas reportedly suffered a severe blood clot that stopped blood from reaching his foot. Doctors then had to perform a below-the-knee amputation to save his life. Currently, he is undergoing rehabilitation and will have to get a prosthetic leg fitted.
As per an insider, many people feel that this is a “turning point” which should make the Duchess let bygones be bygones and reconcile with her father.
However, there is “still no sign of a reconciliation,” claims the insider, which has reportedly drawn criticism for Meghan Markle.
A source told the outlet, “People are questioning how Meghan can continue to keep such a distance when the circumstances are so stark.” They continued, “There is a perception that this is one of the most difficult chapters in their relationship, and the most brutal family move Meghan has ever made, as she has no plans to see her estranged father despite his ill health.”
Thomas’ elder daughter, Samatha, confirmed that he would move back to the US for medical care. Sources allege that he wants to reconnect with his daughter. However, Meghan’s decision not to see him has once again drawn criticism.
