It looks like Cardi B and her baby’s father, Stefon Diggs, might be giving things another shot, but the chef who accused him of strangulation has some serious thoughts about it.
Jamila Adams, a chef who used to work for Stefon, accused him of assaulting her over a money dispute back in 2025. The accusations arrived right around the same time Cardi and Stefon welcomed their son into the world.
Naturally, Cardi went to bat for her man and accused Jamila of lying about what happened to her. Stefon eventually had his day in court and was found not guilty, but Jamila is adamant that there’s much more to the story.
The NFL player’s former chef alleged mistreatment while Cardi B was pregnant
Earlier this month, Stefon was found not guilty of felony strangulation charges and misdemeanor assault and battery. Regardless of the not guilty verdict in court, Jamila is adamant that Stefon was not only abusive towards her, but also towards Cardi.
“The way he treated you when you were pregnant, the way he talked to you when you were pregnant,” Jamila began in her Instagram video.
She continued, “The way that the same people that [have] defended him in this, know how he treated you while you were pregnant and how he was to you while you were pregnant will always be something I will never understand.”
Jamila went on to accuse Stefon of mistreating Cardi both in the delivery room and after having their baby. It’s yet another alarming accusation against the NFL player, right as rumors swirl that he and Cardi are back together.
“The same person that abused you abused me. And our text messages show how he belittled you, how he spoke to you,” Jamila remarked in her video.
Of course, Cardi previously defended Stefon against Jamila’s claims. She accused the chef of lying about what happened to her, but Jamila isn’t backing down. According to her, she and Cardi were both victims.
“I was put in a horrible situation,” Jamila wrote in the caption to her video. “You didn’t deserve any of this, but it happened to you too & you were pregnant. Nothing I said at court was targeted at you, people know exactly what they do.”
“Cardi You know I didn’t lie,” she added. “You know exactly who he really is. He did it to you.”
