Kylie Jenner shared during a recent podcast episode that she was “scared” to reveal her teenage pregnancy to her parents. The reality TV star has an eight-year-old daughter, Stormi Webster, whom she shares with her ex-boyfriend, Travis Scott. Although the couple has broken up, they continue to co-parent their children, Stormi and their son Aire.
Kylie Jenner on revealing teen pregnancy to parents: ‘No one was angry at me’
Kylie Jenner opened up about her teen pregnancy on a recent episode of the Therapuss podcast with Jake Shane. Jenner welcomed her daughter, Stormi Webster, in February 2018 and shared the news publicly a few days later on social media. Jenner shares Stormi and her son Aire with her ex, Travis Scott. Although the couple separated later, they continue to co-parent their children, Stormi and their son Aire.
During the podcast episode, Jenner revealed that she has now entered a different stage of motherhood.
When the host asked what stage she is in, she replied, “I’m in… I have an 8-year-old stage.” The fashion mogul continued, “She’s 8-years-old. She’s my age when we started Keeping Up with the Kardashians, almost.”
In another moment of the podcast, she revealed that she was “scared” to tell her parents about her teen pregnancy.
She said, “I was 19 when I got pregnant. I was freaking out. Yeah, I was freaking out. I was really scared to tell my parents.”
The Kylie Cosmetics founder continued, “And it was…I was really scared. But there was something just inside of me that knew I wanted to do this, and I had to make a decision for myself. What do I really want? What can I handle? And even if I have to do this alone, or however, this is the choice I’m going to make.”
She added that she later told her mother, adding that no one was angry at her and describing it as “a crazy time.”
