Reality star Khloé Kardashian said that the Nancy Guthrie investigation is “weird,” indirectly raising doubts about Sheriff Chris Nanos’s handling of the disappearance of NBC anchor Savannah Guthrie’s mother.
Kardashian appeared on an episode of “Khloé in Wonderland” and said that the dearth of information was “mind-blowing.”
Sheriff Chris Nanos acknowledges deliberate secrecy in search for Nancy Guthrie
Kardashian reportedly said that Guthrie’s case was “heartbreaking,” adding, “I don’t know. I’m just like, this is 2026. There is nothing? That is mind-blowing.” Kardashian claims to be “obsessed” with the case when she finds vital, unknown details.
According to OK Magazine, Nanos has confirmed that their team is deliberately “keeping secrets” from the public on the case. When asked about the alleged “secrets,” Nanos said, “Yes, absolutely there are. But it’s not done because we got [to] keep it a secret. It’s done because we got to protect our case.”
He also added, “I believe, at some point in time, we will make an arrest on this case. “And whoever that individual is, that individual will have a right to a fair and impartial trial. We continue to work with our labs, whether it’s on the digital end or the biological end, with DNA. “Nanos had earlier said that the case hinged heavily on “digital evidence,” and the team is going through “thousands and thousands” of files, apart from concentrating on 13,000+ tips that have come in from the public.
It’s been over 100 days since Nancy Guthrie was believed to be abducted from her home. Her family, including daughter Savannah Guthrie, has announced a million-dollar reward for any information leading to the recovery of the victim.
Kardashian’s concerns are likely to be a reflection of the family’s and the public’s unease and impatience with the ongoing investigation, though Sheriff Nanos refuses to lose hope.
