In the meantime, reports about the King being willing to reconcile with Prince Harry have been swirling. However, it reportedly does not mean that the monarch is ready to “appease” the Duchess of Sussex.

King Charles is allegedly “not interested in appeasing’ his son, Prince Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle, amid speculations about the Duke of Sussex’s possible upcoming UK tour. As reported by Closer, a source told them that “Harry wants to come to Charles with all these demands on behalf of Meghan.” The person continued, “But people are warning him that’s not going to go over well with his father.”
In the meantime, the insider further told the news outlet that King Charles has no interest “in appeasing Meghan.” The person continued, “Or allowing Harry to let her pull the strings.” The insider then explained, “There is no doubt Charles wants Harry to put all this nonsense aside and come home.” The person continued, “And he’s doing everything he can to pave the way for that.” The insider then added, “But he’s not going to be taking orders from Meghan and wants to deal with Harry man to man.”
Meanwhile, the source also told the news outlet that “From Charles’s perspective, this is about repairing a relationship with Harry.” The person continued, “And building a relationship with his grandchildren.” The source then explained, “This is what’s motivating him.” The person further said that King Charles has proved lately that “he’s still very much in his power.” The source continued, “And he’s only going to bend so far.” “If Harry wants to have a relationship with him he’s going to have to do it on Charles’ terms,” added the insider.
