Royal Author Suggests Pension Could Trump Tell-All Book for Sarah Ferguson

Royal author Andrew Lownie told The Mirror that Sarah Ferguson, ex-wife of ex-Prince Andrew, may be asking for a royal pension to keep quiet about the inner life of her erstwhile husband, who was stripped of royal honors following shocking revelations in the Epstein files.

He reports in his updated book that the scandal has spilled over to the lives of siblings Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, who have refused to submit a financial audit as requested by King Charles and Prince William.

Is Sarah Ferguson seeking compensation to avoid sharing personal stories about ex-Prince Andrew?

Despite their divorce in 1996, Fergie has remained strictly loyal to Prince Andrew, even continuing to stay with him at the royal lodge. However, the Jeffrey Epstein scandal has cut deep into her finances. After Andrew was stripped of his title, Fergie’s charities also closed up, leading to serious financial troubles.

Lownie states that at this juncture, publishers and newsmakers may be dangling large sums of money to convince Ferguson to come out clean about Prince Andrew’s downfall. The demand for a substantial royal pension may be her last hope to maintain the insurance of secrecy that she has been offering to the firm.

He says that Fergie is currently negotiating whether she gets to stay in the royal fold or gets left out in the cold. “That may be what Fergie’s negotiating at the moment. Can she get a nice pension from them and not have to do an Oprah interview,” the biographer alleges.

Lownie, a disillusioned monarchist, claims that “transparency” is the only currency that can secure the future of the firm. The fact that Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are still “swanning” themselves in the Middle East is an indication of the double standards of the royals.

The York family continues to be mired in the Jeffrey Epstein row, where Fergusson has been quoted as saying that Epstein was a “supreme friend.”

In the midst of uncertainties, Lownie suggests that the wisest way to move forward is to have a royal register to track the expenses of all members so that they are accountable, something that was attempted “20 years ago.”

Lownie’s explosive new book, released today, has already sent shockwaves through the royal circle, as it is brimming with new facts about the toxic royal couple.
