Keke Palmer brought major drama to the ‘I Love Boosters’ premiere in New York City while wearing a Cong Tri minidress that looked like it was made almost entirely out of ribbons. The actress stepped onto the carpet in the striking white design, instantly turning heads with its plunging neckline, shredded texture, and tiny silhouette.
Keke Palmer’s plunging Cong Tri micro minidress is literally all ribbons
The halter-style micro minidress wrapped tightly around Keke’s body before exploding into long dangling ribbon strands. They brushed the floor with every step. Unlike Sydney Sweeney’s earlier Cong Tri version, which was more architectural and covered up, Keke’s custom one featured an ultra-deep plunging neckline. This added a far bolder twist to the already daring design. The bodice crossed over at the waist in a draped effect, while hundreds of delicate organza strips fell from the hips into a skirt. This created dramatic movement from every angle.
Sydney previously wore a white Cong Tri ribbon minidress earlier this year at the W Magazine Best Performances Party, where The FashionSpot described the look as being crafted entirely from delicate organza ribbons with a sculptural, shredded effect. Keke’s version, however, felt noticeably bolder thanks to the neckline and thigh-high slit peeking through the ribbon layers.
She styled the look minimally with white heels, a simple pendant, and stacked stud earrings. Her hair was braided back into an updo. This kept all the attention on the dress itself. For makeup, Keke opted for a glam look. Her skin was glowing with sharp and contoured features. She posed in front of a pink and ochre backdrop, which contrasted sharply with the white color of the dress.
This outfit proved once again that Cong Tri has mastered the art of transforming fabric into wearable art. Keke stood out on the red carpet because of her bold and unique dress choice.
