Katie Price says she’s stepping back from the search for her missing husband, Lee Andrews. The former glamour model revealed that after days of uncertainty and mounting speculation, she is leaving the investigation in the hands of authorities and focusing on protecting her own mental health.
The update comes after Andrews reportedly failed to board a scheduled flight from Dubai to the U.K., where he was expected to appear alongside Price for their first joint television interview.
Katie Price is now leaving the search for Lee Andrews to the police for her mental health
What started as concern has turned into frustration for Katie. On the latest episode of “The Katie Price Show” podcast, the TV personality explained that she has reached a point where there is little more she can personally do. “There’s nothing I can do, nothing more that I can say,” Katie said as per Mirror. “The police are dealing with it. I’m just leaving it to the police.”
The 47-year-old married Dubai-based businessman Lee Andrews in January, just weeks after they met. Since then, the relationship has attracted significant public attention, particularly amid allegations from critics who have labeled Andrews a conman.
According to Katie, she became alarmed when she was unable to contact Andrews and noticed his location services were no longer active. She said the situation prompted her to contact police and diplomatic officials for assistance.“The British police, British consulate, the Foreign Office, Interpol — they’re on the case looking for Lee,” she explained.
Despite the uncertainty, Katie said she refuses to put her life on hold indefinitely. “What am I supposed to do, sit here and cry and do nothing?” she asked listeners. “For my own sanity, I’m taking a step back.”
Her sister Sophie also addressed the situation, making it clear that her focus remains on supporting Katie and their family rather than commenting on Andrews himself. Meanwhile, Katie acknowledged the intense online speculation surrounding the disappearance and admitted it has become difficult to separate fact from rumor.
“My antennas are up,” she said. “I’m not stupid.”
