Newbie Amanda Frances survived her first season filming Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but it was not without its share of challenges. Fans who watched the show were a bit divided on her rookie season, and now that next season’s production is approaching, many are wondering if she’ll be back. Amanda thinks there’s a chance she will return, although production has not officially asked her yet.
Will the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills bring Amanda Frances back?
Amanda sure had a rollercoaster of a ride on her premiere season of RHOBH. She famously clashed with Dorit Kemsley, and Bozoma Saint John accused her of building a cult. It may be because she tends to rub some people the wrong way. Still, on her end, she feels hopeful that she and Boz may still find a way forward.
Does that mean Amanda’s coming back for Season 16? She confirmed that while she is aware of when filming is set to begin, she hasn’t been “formally asked back yet.” It looks like RHOBH is still getting its ducks in a row.
Fans initially worried that Bravo had paused the show because it didn’t appear on the renewal list. But OG Kyle Richards made sure to clarify that the Beverly Hills girls weren’t on pause. So, will Amanda be back among them?
“I think there’s a good chance they’re going to (ask her back), but then I have to decide, ‘Do I want to do that again?’” she told ExtraTV. “You gotta understand, it’s like three months of filming, but then like six months of interviews, and then the show starts coming out, and it’s media.”
“I was cast the same time last year,” she added. “That means it did take one year of my life. And it was a lot of the year. And I was still obviously running my business, doing my thing. But during the filming chunk of the year, it actually takes up a lot of psychological space.”
She remains grateful for the opportunities and new people the show brought her, but it looks like she has some soul-searching to do regarding a potential return. For now, she’s focusing on her upcoming wedding weekend. She’s sent save-the-dates to Kyle, Jennifer Tilly, and Kathy Hilton.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is streaming on Peacock.
