It’s been three years since the ill-fated Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip filmed in Morocco, and Camille Grammer just shared more insight about what went down between Brandi Glanville and Caroline Manzo. According to Camille, what she saw in Morocco wasn’t all that bad. She felt like Brandi was acting the same way she always did on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
The former RHOBH star said Caroline Manzo was “going along with it”
In the years since RHUGT filmed, several Housewives have gone on the record to say that Brandi didn’t do anything that should have resulted in a lawsuit and a permanently shelved show. During a recent appearance on Humble Brag with Cynthia Bailey and Crystal Kung Minkoff, Camille expressed a similar sentiment. The Brandi she saw in Morocco, she said, was the same Brandi she’d always filmed with on RHOBH.
“It’s nothing that I haven’t experienced before, so I’m kind of surprised,” Camille said about Brandi’s backlash.
She continued, “Something happened in the bathroom, allegedly. But I wasn’t in the bathroom, so I didn’t see what happened in the bathroom. And I think … what it was that … Brandi groped uh Caroline in a way that went too far. Again, I wasn’t there, so I didn’t see it. Now, what I did see around is typical Brandi.”
According to Camille, “typical Brandi” involves booze. She might “slobber all over you.” That’s just the Brandi experience, and she didn’t think it went too far in Morocco. She also didn’t think Caroline seemed uncomfortable in the situation, despite the ongoing lawsuit suggesting otherwise.
“And Caroline seemed to enjoy it,” Camille alleged. “So that was the odd thing, is like Caroline was going along with it. I don’t know if she was going along with it to appease Brandi at the time because she didn’t want to fight with Brandi. Because Brandi has a mouth on her, and there may be some things that Caroline didn’t want to be said out there.”
Despite everything, Camille is just as disappointed as the rest of us that this RHUGT season will likely never see the light of day. She described it as a season full of both depth and humor, and definitely deserving of a proper release.
“There are a lot of deep moments, but there’s a lot of fun,” Camille recalled. “There’s a lot of kooky, funny things that were said, and it’s a shame. I mean, I hope it does see the light of day, but I’m not sure if it will.”
She concluded, “And again, I wasn’t in the restroom, so I don’t know what happened. But what I did see was the two of them kind of playing off of one another.”
The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip is streaming on Peacock.
