Two stars of Summer House are in the doghouse right now, and they are Amanda Batula and West Wilson. The new couple had all eyes on them the second they dropped their statement announcing their romance. And, in the eyes of public opinion, they’ve only been making the situation worse. The pair have been seen kissing out in public, and apparently Amanda has met West’s parents. Yikes.
While Amanda is getting a lot of backlash, so is West. After all, he was supposed to be friends with Kyle Cooke, who Amanda is still legally married to. And, he used to date Ciara Miller, who he knew was Amanda’s best friend. Overall, the cast is against him, bravolebrities are calling him out, and the entire fanbase hates him now. The dislike has become so jarring, that he’s actually become fearful.
The Summer House star opened up about life after Bravo backlash
On his podcast Show Me Something, West recently shared what it’s like dealing with the world being against you. And it is intense.
“Going out in public is kind of scary. There have been so many f*cking stupid f*cking posts on the internet,” he vented in the May 25 episode.
Speaking of the videos, West also debunked some of the ones he’s seen gaining a lot of attention. One of the biggest allegations circulating now is that he and Amanda are sharing clothes.
“People do wear striped shirts. People just post anything, and it works. A lot of people have been like, ‘She wears your clothes all the time.’ We actually do dress the same.”
Maybe after the three-part reunion, there will be some ease of loathing towards West. But, based on the leaked audio, that doesn’t seem likely.
