Marissa’s Ex-Husband Threatens To ‘Bite’ Edward’s Face Off In Wild 90 Day Fiancé Feud

90 Day Fiancé star Marissa Rubinetti faces skepticism from loved ones about her fiancé, Edward Gomez, due to their extreme wealth disparity. It’s pretty par for the course for the show, but this time, Marissa’s ex, Michael, has some pretty choice words for Marissa’s new man ahead of his arrival in the United States.

Marissa’s ex-husband sounds off after her relationship with new fiancé Edward goes public

We all know that the 90 Day Fiancé course of true love never runs smoothly. Things are bound to get a little crazy. After all, it’s the premise of the show. But, to be fair, Marissa and Edward seem to really enjoy each other’s company.

The pair met while she was on a trip to his home country, the Dominican Republic. He was working as a hotel concierge. They hit it off, and soon it was time for Edward to head to the United States. And this is where some of Marissa’s family members showed a bit of concern.

Marissa’s ex-husband, Michael, in particular, was openly hostile about Edward’s arrival and the impact he would have on their family dynamic. Michael and Marissa share two sons. Michael hasn’t been shy about his concerns that Edward is just trying to get a green card.

He also thinks that the wealth discrepancy will be an issue since it was an issue for him when he was married to her. Her wealthy family made him feel like a “loser.”

Michael is also being overly protective of his boys. “If it’s going to add stress to my boys, it’s going to be both of your guys’ problem,” Michael threatened. “He needs to not come at a certain way because, especially when it comes to my kids, I’ll bite someone’s face off.”

Marissa is worried, but believes she’s doing the best for her and Edward. She wants to take a leap of faith with him. Upon his arrival, she gifted him a key to her $1M home, where he will be residing. She also made it clear on social media that this is all part of the K1 visa process.

“We appreciate now being together in this moment just because, like, it’s been a long time waiting, and to have Edward here now just feels like probably one of the best days in our relationship so far,” she explained.

90 Day Fiancé is available to stream on Discovery +.
