The bromance between Below Deck Mediterranean stars Joe Bradley and Nathan Gallagher is dead in the water. According to Joe, Nathan is an “aggressive man” who “wants you to blow up” on his watch. So, as Joe just revealed, he came into Season 11 with his game face on.

In the sneak peek trailer for Below Deck Med Season 11, Nathan explained his falling out with Joe. First, he told Captain Sandy Yawn that he and Joe “haven’t really talked,” and that their “bromance has stopped.” Regarding why, Nathan shared, “Coming toward the end of last season, the way he was treating women was f*cked.” So, Nathan cut ties with Joe.
As for Joe, he just spoke with Us Weekly ahead of next week’s premiere. When speaking about his failed friendship with the bosun, Joe admitted that he came into filming knowing “how to work with Nathan.” He explained, “All you’ve got to do is keep your mouth shut and don’t laugh. That’s how you deal with Nathan.”
During filming, Joe “knew how to play along,” he claimed. “Nathan does say things, and he wants you to blow up. But if you keep your mouth shut, head down, tail between your legs, that’s what he likes. He’s an aggressive man,” Joe argued.
But Joe is not keeping his tail between his legs now that he is back on dry land. Instead, Joe just shared his interview with Us Weekly on his Instagram Stories. And on top, he wrote, “Is the true side of Nathan going to show on Season 11? I bloody hope so.”
Where fans’ opinions might fall this season, only time will tell. So, buckle up, nautical lovers, as the battle between Joe and Nathan starts next Monday night on Bravo.
