Dancing with the Stars pro Val Chmerkovskiy weighed in on being Ciara Miller’s dream partner. The Summer House star, who was recovering from the Scamanda drama, was focused on her stint in the ballroom. And that included her wish for a specific partner for DWTS Season 35. Will Ciara’s request be granted?
Could Ciara Miller and Val Chmerkovskiy end up paired on DWTS?
So far, two other celebrities besides Ciara have been announced as Season 35 cast members. Maura Higgins of The Traitors and Savannah Bananas second baseman Jackson Olson will rumba in the ballroom. Meanwhile, Ciara decided to step up her training ahead of the dance competition.
It’s no secret that Ciara wanted to partner with Val. “I’ve been campaigning for Val. I don’t know if they [producers] hear me, but yeah, sending out some emails, putting my word in,” Ciara previously shared. “We’ll see where everyone wants to place me.”
Recently, Val shared his thoughts at the Annual Race to Erase MS Gala. “First of all, I’m so humbled because I saw the Ciara video and there are things that I’m not allowed to disclose at this point in the off-season,” Val told E! News. “So, I felt bad. I wanted to say thank you because what a huge compliment it is to be shouted out that way.” The three-time Mirrorball champ added, “I am not the one in charge of casting.”
In addition, Val’s wife and fellow pro Jenna Johnson felt that Val and Ciara could be a great combination. However, Jenna also shared that she would like to be partnered with Ciara or Maura. “I wanna dance with one of them, honestly. Whichever one, please,” Jenna stated. During Season 30, Jenna danced with JoJo Siwa and made history as the first same sex couple to hit the DWTS ballroom.
