Mary Trump, niece of US President Donald Trump, has claimed in an interview with journalist Steven Beschloss that concerns over her uncle’s health are becoming difficult to ignore.
The president’s niece referenced her uncle’s performance at the G7 summit as one of the moments that raised concerns about his health.

Mary warned that Trump’s declining health and cognitive concerns may just be the beginning of the end. Answering Beschloss’s question about whether the president looked “unusually diminished”, Mary, 61, said, “I think this is simply the direction things are heading.”
She expanded on her doubts regarding the president’s health, saying, “He may still have moments when he appears more coherent, but psychically he’s in a downward spiral,” adding, “He’s experiencing constant narcissistic injuries, and nothing terrifies Donald more than humiliation.”
Mary reported in her newsletter that, unfortunately, “nobody humiliates Donald more effectively than Donald humiliates himself.”
The president made a series of humiliating gaffes at the G7 summit that included justifying his late arrival by saying he’s “the boss.” In a week dotted with frustrating failures, Trump has faced difficult setbacks in his handling of the Iran War, where his attempts to halt the ongoing conflict have repeatedly blown up in his face.
She added that Trump’s physical and mental decline is “becoming impossible to hide.” She notes that all his attempts are currently focused on “protecting his fragile ego.”
Mary’s comments were not taken lightly by the White House Communications Director, Steven Cheung, who lashed back at Mary, saying that she is a “stone-cold loser who doesn’t have a clue about anything.”
The White House has continued to say that the president is in “perfect health” amid increasing public speculation about Trump’s bruised hands, micro naps, swollen ankles, and frequent factual mix-ups.
