Hudson McLeroy was already back on fans’ radar with Next Gen NYC Season 2 around the corner. Now, a troubling family headline is bringing even more attention his way.
Much of Hudson’s Next Gen storyline centered on his long, on-and-off relationship with his current co-star and RHOA/Don’t Be Tardy alum, Ariana Biermann. The two split after Season 1.
Now, ahead of the Season 2 premiere, an off-screen development involving Hudson’s mother is making headlines.

According to The U.S. Sun, Hudson’s mom, Carol McLeroy, 58, was arrested in Georgia on June 15 after an alleged altercation with her boyfriend.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Department says deputies responded after Carol’s 32-year-old boyfriend called 911 and claimed he had been assaulted. Investigators determined the two were in a relationship, and he reportedly stayed at Carol’s farm several nights each week.
According to the sheriff’s department, “on the night of the assault, the two were in a bedroom and had a verbal argument. The victim hit McLeroy with a pillow and McLeroy then struck the victim in the face two times with the back of her hand, causing the injuries.”
Carol was accused of striking him at least twice, allegedly leaving a laceration under his eye and another injury to his lip. Law enforcement sources said she was arrested on a misdemeanor family violence battery charge.
She spent the night in jail before being released on June 16 after posting a $1,300 cash bond.
Carol has some reality TV ties of her own. She previously appeared on MTV’s short-lived Buckhead Shore with her son, Parker Lipman. Parker is Hunter’s half-brother.
As for Hudson, Bravo teased that his and Ariana’s post-breakup dynamic will also play out in Season 2. Ariana’s focused on her new chapter in New York, while Hudson is back in Atlanta, but he may not be ready to move on just yet.
