Brad Pitt made an appearance at Team USA’s FIFA World Cup match amid an ongoing legal battle. As the US hosts the global tournament, the men’s soccer team has drawn unprecedented star-studded support. However, it’s not the first time the F1 star has shown up for major sporting events, as he has been spotted at Wimbledon and the recent NBA Finals.

Brad Pitt was spotted in the stands cheering on Team USA during their FIFA World Cup match against Turkey on Thursday, June 25.

Turkey clinched a 3-2 win over the home team after a nail-biting finish. Despite the loss, celebrities still packed Los Angeles for the World Cup. As reported by PEOPLE, Brad Pitt came in a Team USA jersey, white pants, and a white bucket hat. He sat beside his Fight Club co-star Edward Norton, and the two caught up over beers while watching the game.

Pitt’s appearance comes amid an ongoing high-profile legal battle over Château Miraval. He formerly co-owned the French winery with his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie. The dispute, which centers on the sale of Jolie’s stake in the estate, has been playing out in court for over two years.

The star power extended well past Brad Pitt. Leonardo DiCaprio, Paris Hilton, Jessica Alba, Keegan-Michael Key, and Kelly Rowland were among the many celebrities who packed the stadium.

In the game, Turkey secured a thrilling 3-2 victory over the USA. Baris Alper Yilmaz netted his second goal in the 31st minute. Sebastian Berhalter struck back 18 minutes later to tie the match 2-2, but the Turks managed to clinch the win in the closing minutes.

Kaan Ayhan delivered Turkey’s decisive goal seven minutes into stoppage time. The US men’s team dropped the match but had already locked in their place in the next round. Their next game is set for July 1 against Bosnia and Herzegovina in Santa Clarita, California.

Team USA will play Bosnia and Herzegovina in a World Cup Round of 32 knockout match on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at San Francisco Bay Area Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
